I'm in the process of creating the demo for an upcoming video on a 1974 Fender Twin Reverb. This is the point where I'm editing the video and audio layers all together with green screening. The studio-captured audio is not added yet. This is just a rough video mix with the RAW camera guide audio for the drums and guitar ONLY! So this is what the drums and rhythm guitar are sounding like in the room by themselves with no close miking and no post processing (other than a bit of compression and EQ). I am actually kind of shocked how good this is sounding even though one of the camera mics (the one for the drums) is from a DJI Action Cam and the other (for the guitar) is a Panasonic camcorder mic. Usually when making this kind of demo, the raw camera mic audio acts as a guide when lining up video clips on the editing timeline and then gets deleted from the final timeline before publishing. In some cases, I will even mix in a hint of the raw camera microphones with the studio mix to give the overall sound more of a garage band, lo-fi feel. I hate when stuff sounds too over-produced to the point where it loses all humanness or realness and I've found the camera mics take away some of that coldness that can result from a completely close-miked situation. In this case, I'm thinking this audio will be completely deleted in the end, so I thought I'd publish it here before it gets sent down the memory hole forever. In this video, I put on the cloak of a preacher and talk about why the modern state of Israel spoken about in Genesis 12 is NOT the same as the modern state of Israel we see today and why this idea that we should never oppose Israel is a false teaching. I will back my argument up with Christian scripture. This is something I've never attempted to do before - offer up a Biblical teaching. I do not feel qualified at all. In fact, I am probably one of the least qualified preachers on earth. But maybe that's why you should listen anyway. If you have more to add, or if you have a rebuttal, feel free to comment. I'm all ears and willing to learn more.
